Common questions

Is HaTzuk good for beginners?

On a small day, yes: sand, a long stretch of peaks and few people. On a big day the current is strong; go down to Gordon or the Dolphinarium instead.

When does HaTzuk work?

A small to moderate western swell with an east wind, October to April. A large swell closes it out.

Is HaTzuk crowded?

Rarely. It is the northernmost Tel Aviv beach, under the cliff that names it, and the city's surfers stay by the marina. On a good Saturday there is still room to spread out.

Is there parking at HaTzuk?

Yes, a large car park beside the beach, almost empty in winter even on a swell morning.
