Frontside (frontside.live) is a free surf forecast web app. It answers one question: where should I surf today, and is it worth going? Instead of opening one spot after another, every spot around you is ranked against the others for today and tomorrow - size, wind, period and tide, scored by a model trained per spot and checked against live calls by surf instructors (see the accuracy page). About 450 spots across seven regions: Portugal, Southern California, Oahu, Bali, Sri Lanka, Israel and Ireland. Accuracy, stated once and with its limits: on 324 live calls by surf instructors at 49 spots in Bali, Portugal, California and Hawaii (20 September to 20 October 2026), Frontside's forecast matched the instructor's call 81% of the time, Surfline 64% on the same calls.
